I have been in the dental field for over 6 years, and I joined this incredible team in May 2023. I take huge pride in the work I do and only feel accomplished when I know I’ve done my absolute best in helping patients. A few fun facts about me:
I was born in Mexico and raised in Illinois before relocating to Colorado and eventually making Kalamazoo my home. I have over 9 years of experience in the field of Dental Assisting. I serve as the Communications Committee Chair of the Hispanic Dental Association. I joined the Portage Northern Dental team in November 2023 and take great pride in providing exceptional patient care, building trust, and educating patients on their individual needs. With 12 years of experience in dental hygiene, I have had the opportunity to work in public health, private practice, and corporate dental settings. I am passionate about educating patients on improving their oral health and love seeing their progress at each visit.
A few fun facts about me:
I was diagnosed with hyperdontia as a child which kickstarted my interest in the dental field. I grew up in the UP and eventually moved down to Portage with my family. I’m so grateful to be a part of a team that values patient care and professional growth. Being able to build lasting relationships while helping patients improve their wellbeing is what makes this work truly rewarding.
